Default td questions

I have a 95 t/a. I want td but my buddy says that the will scrap real bad and are really loud. I'm at stock height and want to go 2.5 piping with magnaflo mufflers. I eventually want to drop it so people who have it let me know how u like it. Pros and cons plz.

Lots of folks have done it before. A quick search on here will turn up tons of info.

If the system is designed right, ground clearance loss should be a minimum.

What headers do you have right now?

I built some 3" true duals a few years back and gained ground clearance over my Y pipe and catback. Here's the thread.

It all depends on how it is installed and what mufflers you use. I have 3" true duals with dynomax bullets and i love it. I'm at stock height and I scrap every once in a while but not bad I could have tucked it up better.

Did you mount yours to the seat belt holes?

Yeah, I got longer bolts for the seat belts and mounted them to the bolts with nylock nuts.

I have the Texas Speed system, and have little problem with rubbing. Just have to take it slow on speed bumps and such, but really i had to do that before anyway.
