R.i.p. Lt1 :( I totaled my car last week. I was coming home from a friend's house after a snow storm and I rear ended a truck doing 60mph. Two cars ahead of me lost control and I had to take the blow. I hit the truck ******* hard. I thought I was going to be seriously hurt. Nope made it out with out a scratch. I bit my lip a little and my back was sore, that was it. GM designed a great air bag system lol. I just primered the Camaro and I am thankful that i didn't shoot color on it yet. I would have been pissed if I wrecked a fresh painted car.
I dunno if i want another LT1 right now. I really need to concentrate on school instead of working on a project car. However, I've grown to love optis. So here are a couple of pics days before the accident.

I've done it. As long as people stay in the ruts, or the road is clear (highway), then why not. When I do it, I leave plenty of brake distance, and I never accelerate too quickly.

i can second that on the airbags. lady pulled out in front of me when i was doing bout 50 mph and i just suffered a sprained wrist and some bruises. i was in an 04 gto. On the flip side, you can now go shopping!!
