Default efi conn. 24x Q...

Question about the wire harness, EFI say on their website " ... we will contact you to get specific vehicle requirements.."

what information do they need to know?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1993-1997 24x LT1 Camaro/Firebird Plug-and-Play Engine Wiring Harness
EFI Connection has invested in all of the brand new GM (Delphi) harness components to recreate the LT1 engine harness, but for use with the LS1 PCM. These harnesses are built after being ordered and have an estimated 3 week lead time. We recommend that you contact us by phone to order this harness, but if purchasing online, we will contact you to get specific vehicle requirements.
I have the complete setup and the advantage of the custom harness is that you can have things like a shift light lead, NOS control etc.
I ordered his harness, he just needed the year of it and what trans it had originally came with. The lead time is more than 3 weeks if he is busy, so that's also why you want to call so you will have an exact time frame. I didn't buy every thing from Mike, I sourced the coils/coil harness my self and then just bought his brackets.
i got a '96-'97 timing cover off ebay, when i get it where is the crankshaft hub? don't get me wrong, i can put two and two together on where it's at, but is the milling done on the interior or exterior of the cover, and what's the best way to accomplish the task
" Mill down the crankshaft hub the thickness of the 24x crank reluctor (2.5mm) to avoid misalignment of the accessory belt "
The "hub" is the piece that is installed on the crankshaft after the timing cover is installed. The balancer is the piece that bolts to the hub.
If you use a hub from a 92-95 LT1 (in other words and LT1 that never had a crank reluctor sandwiched between the crank timing sprocket and hub) then the crank reluctor will prevent the hub from seating against the crank timing sprocket and the belt will slightly be out of alignment.
The easiest solution is to purchase a 96-97 LT1 hub and be done with it.
JEGS #555-51609
LT1 Balancer Hub
1996-97 Camaro/Firebird
1996 Corvette
Short Length 3.417''
I have an ATI Super Dampner, they are universal for 93-97 LT1s, the 93-95s would have to use the provided reluctor wheel spacer that acounts for the 4x reluctor on 96-97 LT1s.
