Default 93-97 Camaro HID kit need some help

Hey I just bought a 93-97 HID Kit from Speed INC. http://www.speedinc.com/catagory.cfm?catagory=Lighting and I need to buy a Relay kit for it since for some reason I do not have the fuses nor the wiring in my relay box for the stock headlights.

Does anyone know of a relay kit I can buy that will work with this one?

Link does not work. I have a 97 and got my hids from ledgauges and I didn't have to upgrade anything. Altho the plug that connects to the ballest box is backwards so if you hook them up the correct way and they don't work plug it in backward

For my HID's I used a kit with 9006 bulbs in the stock housings. Plug and play, 1 year with no problems. I work at night and use these everyday, great upgrade from stock....

Didn't your factory lights work? I don't see why you would have a problem if they did.

Not to jack your thread but I have a new set from speed for my 97 formula if anyone is interested. they're $199 on thier site, $160 shipped.

They come with new housings, but I think they only have a kit for the low beams.

The factory lights worked but when these weren't working in my car I checked the fuse relay thinking maybe I blew a fuse but there was no fuses in the the front headlights nor any wiring there for it, so that stumped me idk how my stock ones were working without that in there.

Going to go outside see if it works if I switch the plug around.

A lot of ballasts are like that. Its a polar connection like an LED. If it doesnt work one way flip it around an plug it in the opposite way. I used to install these all the time at this shop I worked for and its amazing almost every car was backwards.

$50 DDM Tuning HID kit and about 15 mins install time is all it took me. No need to make it more expensive or harder than it should be

Just took a screwdriver and popped the old bulb right out of the housing.

To answer this question. Gm's lights are hooked up in reverse polarity. All gm's halogen headlights work no matter what way they are hooked up whether they are pos to pos or pos to neg. The new hid kit you just put in has to be pos to pos and neg to neg in order for it to function.

I couldnt stand plugging mine in backwards so i used a larger sized paper clip to remove the factory headlight wires from the factory connector. I then just put the wires in the connector the correct way.
