Ok, so do i need to tune my car AFTER the new rear and new gears, or BEFORE, or does that even matter??
also does anyone have a template or write up about making a custom torque arm mount for an 8.8" rear end?

I will have a little bit of help with the install, but as for the build of the rear someone else will be doing the welding and all.
Does it "matter" if I tune before the rear instead of after or no? I am just curious if it does and if so why for my own education. Thanks guys!

Only thing you really need to "tune" for is the gear. You can do that at any time, but it will cause your speedo to be off until that gear is actually in the car. It really won't hurt anything if you do it before or after the actual install.

Got it, cool. So if I wanna have me speedo on and all, do it AFTER the install. If I tune it BEFORE the install I will need to have the tune edited to fix my speedo correct?
If the tune isn't matched to the gears, depending on a few things, you might get some early or late shifts.
