Default low coolant level sensor and retaining clip....

is there a right way or direction to put the clip on?

Mine keeps popping off after a radiator change.

Well, this is actually the second time, but I haven't driven the car in the last 5 months because of a headgasket issue.

If the rad is in the car and your standing in front of it the metal clip should be like this C so it looks like the letter "C" and the electrical connector goes in at the bottom.

Check the O rings on the level sensor You may need to change them and also make sure that the clip is hooked around the left and right sides, top and bottom and that the clip is straight. It is supposed to hook it's self on the flange on the radiator port. make sure that flange is not broken.

Thank You guys, that's a great help.

I'll have to check for those O rings, I hope they're OK; if not, I hope a replacement can be had easily.

well it has been useful, and it is working. I've been having the longest issue w/ a head gasket so it has been useful. Do I rely on it no.

So, how did you plug it up?
