You have to draw the line somewhere. If you are going in for 200 more then that's far over what a stock rod could easily do for this application. JMO...

For the build he has the Scat rod will be just fine.....why spend more than you have to? If you're not going to work a lesser rod why worry about top dollar? IMO go with the Scat and you'll be just fine....

Few machine shops have told me the Scat/Eagle stuff often goes out of round after a few torque cycles, at which point they will endup costing what the Compstar does. The Scat absolutely will take this level performance though, just be aware that sometiomes the chinese stuff cost extra in remachining.
