exactly, it's just not realistic for anyone to make an aftermarket block for the LT motor...it only spanded from 92-97...that's only 6 production years, not to mention the amount of vehicles their in...7 vehicles I can think of off the top of my head...and not too many people are buildin up racecars out of roadmasters or fleetwoods

the LS motors have been used since '97 until this very day...goin on 15 years of production in GTO's, Firebird, Camaro, Corvette, SSR, Trailblazer SS, CTS-V's, G8's, 2010+ Camaro's, not to mention all the truck motors with nearly identical LS designs...

it makes perfect sense why they killed the block.

I was even saying it in relation to the "LS in the 6s vs LTs in the 8s".

Not many people seriously trying to make LTs run. If there were I think it would happen.

The LT1 is SO similar to a gen 1 it should be able to do at least as much as has been done with stock block gen 1s, but most set the bar much lower for the LT1.
