LTX Shootout Rules Clarification Needed
Tony, that is not mine, but pretty similar. I do still have the stock torque arm.
I didn't like the big heavy bolt-on rear mount Pete sells. The Stockers can't have anything welded on, Super Stock car can. I don't know that I can make that one, still need to check the 383" over and replace some parts I robbed from it to put my first SS engine together. Need to change gears too, it would never make it to the finish line with the gears this 350" needs. Lots of work and I have some health issues right not that I don't know will be cleared up by then (or ever). I'll try.
Thanks, Ed[/QUOTE]
Decision is made. As long as you still have the torque arm on the car...you are good to go.

Just come in Super Stock trim. We would all love to see you.
Take Care,
Daren
We tried that one day on Ed's car, the torque arm was added back to it.
Here is a copy of the Pete Z bar that Ed was talking about. His is about the same as mine except I think his is a round bar for the lower control arm.
Had to get Ken and a couple other guys to help me push it back in the trailer. Interesing day.
Darren, I can't "come in SS trim", that engine has a bowtie block. Only thing LT1 about that one is the head castings.
Also, how about Bobby at Gainsville? I think he built himself an SS engine. If not the C/SA guys had better watch out! Really tickled to see him run that quick and go that many rounds. He aint lost much to age. One of the nicest guys I ever met.
