While I was at the shop last year having it dyno tuned I must have been asked 6 or 7 different times what cam I had in it and every time it was the same response....lt4 hotcam of course Your car looks great and I am excited for you to finish it up! Good luck with the rest of the build

stingy bench apparently. Erik's numbers were 20 cfm less across the board form the last bench...

but they were like 255 intake and 185 exhaust.

BTW BALLIN TIMES James! haha. 11.9x in a cam/bolt on BONE STOCK suspension car...mad props lol

haha thanks man.

Finally got the LS7 lifters and head gaskets in today, so I went and picked them up and went to the shop to work on the motor. Got the top end basically built. Going to adjust the rockers next and seal up the intake. I've still gotta get injectors and a base tune so I can fire the motor and break it in.

recoated headers and y-pipe

I don't play no games...

organization is KEY

valve covers just layed on so nothing gets in

Thanks man.

Got oil in the motor and primed it once to adjust the rockers. Gonna do it again tonight/tomorrow then seal up the intake and start putting everything together up top.

I placed the intake on and bolted up the starter and passenger side header and started untangling the jungle of wiring the comes in the factory harness. Came out pretty good. The computer is now going to be in the cabin under the dash and I relocated the coil to the back side of the head, as well as moved the coolant temp sensor to the passenger side head in the rear just to clean it all up.

and a little eye candy...

You finished yet... lol.

I just finished up yesterday, my build wasn't quite as thorough as yours though. Just swapped the oil pan and heads. Now I've gotta wait a month for my dyno tune.

Great pics of the progress!

Awesome man! I bet it'll run like a champ for sure! Yea I wanted to do quite a few other things during the down time and now it's basically hit the point of waiting for me to finish a few little things and it'll all waterfall back into place quite quickly. I'm ready to drive it again...I rode downtown last night in my buddys C6 Z06, holy cow I miss the rush...

Made more progress on the car but haven't been able to update since my personal computer got a freakin virus...

Motor's coming together, finished up the wiring harness mostly, primed the motor and adjusted the rockers so I could seal up the intake. Laid the valve covers on and bolted them down. Got the water pump back from the coaters and it looks great. Today I plugged the last hole and put on the electric pump and put it on the motor.

Got the computer to the tuners so I can have a startup tune for when I'm ready, and I paid for my 30lb SVO injectors and am just waiting on them to show up now. Next is priming and spraying the engine bay then starting the reassembly process...I miss driving it so bad...
