cutouts??

Default cutouts??

hey i have a slightly built 350. Shorty headers, if i install a cutout after my Y pipe about 2 feet back will it sound good? and will it wreck anything in the engine?

No it will not hurt the engine....

It will be loud and raspy....really just personal preference if it sounds good or not....

It will sound like compleete **** and lose some tq but may gain you a few hp up top.

Not worth it for a m/ostly street car

so wats the best muffler out there to put on it that will sound loud and aggressive. i have a flowmaster behind the rear. i think its a 70

True duals w dynomax bullets is loud n aggressive. I prefer the deeper more mellow tgone of TDs w powersticks or spiralflows tho

well, i would say try a bolt on version if you could. find a section of pipe you could just bolt on the y pipe to and swp out under the car. and if you don't like the sound then simply switch it back..

well i have cat deletes with a custom y pipe on stock manifolds and no bullet and it sounds good in my opinion and well im going to put shorties next that were given to me just need some cash so they can install the..... if i were you id do it but warning it is VERY VERY LOUD

Change out the Bump Stick first, then look into one...

I have LT Pacesetters dumped with a Moroso Spiral Flow Muffler

plus a cc503 cam...best sound everr

I have Hooker LTs to a Hooker ORY and then to a Magnaflow bullet and dump right in front of the rear axle...


Sounds VERY mean and no rasp what so ever!.Sounds way better than my E cutout did and feels like it makes more power!.(don't have dyno numbers to back that up with)...... it is on the loud side though and would not recommend it for daily driving....

i like my cut out i felt teh difference from my flowmaster to cut out....but if u would like a diffeent loud exhaust u might wanna look into the loudmouth 1 kit...great kit sounds good too..
