I have no desire to instruct how to change the valve springs with the heads on the car. There are plenty on here that will point you in the right direction.

However, I will let you know that you don't torque down your rockers.

Get a Tim's tool, and figure out what you're doing BEFORE you start.
If you don't know how to adjust the rockers I wouldn't be attempting the swap yet.

I created a step by step procedure for setting lifter preload which you'll need once you get the springs swapped. It's posted as a STICKY on the LS1LT1.COM on the Engine Tech Board.

I never got around to typing up a step by step on swapping springs though. Maybe someone else has one already prepared and will post it here or post a link to it.

I could type one up, but to do the swap correctly, it's somewhat involved. Many seem to think all you do is pop off the old ones and pop on the new ones, but it's more involved than that. To do it RIGHT, the installed height and seat pressure needs to be checked and verified.

Yep it's not a ford. You have to use the zero lash method. Shbox is a great resource for that.

Factory LT4s has shouldered rocker studs and the rockers were torqued down (like LSxs).
