130MPH and counting...

I got a 93, and therefore, the speedo ends at 150, and I got it way past it back in the day on the Chicago highways (so maybe 160?), and it was still pulling. That was while it completely stock too. Up to 140 or so I'd say these cars feel at least somewhat safe, after that it doesn't feel safe at all.

I can only imaging wiping out at those speeds would obliterate your car spewing pieces everywhere sort of like a plane crash.
heres a good poll: how many people where their seat belts when going over 140?
not me.

lol I look at it as...if I die because I was going that fast then so be it...at least I died doing something I love while having fun...I already went to Baghdad Iraq and got shot at, stabbed, and blown up, and I am still here.....

yeah when your # is up, its up, not much you can do about it. But I look at it like this, if you managed to survive a wreck going that fast you'd be better off dead cause you'd be so messed up. I was temporarily paralyzed once when I broke my neck and F**K that! I usually take my seat belt off above 80 actually.

I am 24, almost 25. I just got the new SP wire and put it in today! Here is a video from a dig but I let it bog because my tires arent great and this is going slightly uphill but it was the best stretch of road to test it on in short notice...I just wanted to see what the difference was...sorry about the bad camera shake...hard to do this and drive lmao.

I hit 145 once with mine right after I bought it in 98. A guy in a early 90's mustang GT was messing with me on the PA turnpike and things got out of hand (about the dumbest road in this state to try it on btw, state cops all over the place). Car was bone stock at the time and was still pulling pretty good, not sure what the GT had but he stayed with me the whole way. The car is dangerous enough at those speeds, it didnt help any that I had the t-tops off at the time lol. Papers and **** were getting sucked out the roof, it was getting nuts. The only time I get close to those speeds any more is on the track, really cant afford to lose my liscense these days, plus it's dangerous as ****.

i don't think your seat belt is going to matter if you wreck at 150mph and, not much help either if you have T-Tops. I still wear mine anyways, just a good habbit

exactly, I'd say you've got a 98% chance of biting the dust and a 2% chance of being vegetablized wrecking at those speeds.. I'd much rather make it 100% and 0% If somin were to go wrong. I'm all set w/ being a vegetable or paraplegic.
