Default Does your car smoke on the dyno?

I was on the dyno a few weeks ago and with the A/F set around 13.2, I still had smoke coming out the exhaust tips. It was a gray smoke and did not appear to be a rich condition. Did not smell of oil either.

On the first bolt on motor, I could go WOT at night and see the smoke in the rear view mirror if a car was behind me with its headlights on.

I have LT's, TD's and no cats.

Is this normal?

I love watching idiots stand right next to the rollers or sit on a couch in front of a car when it's on the dyno.

They got the "I'm not scared of it" look on their faces. Freaking idiots....

I have a video that I need to post and the smoke is no worse that what is shown above. Its not bad at all and I would not consider it a wall. I just want to know what the reason is for it and whether its something that should be investigated.

BTW Bluecats Dino shop has couches and a big screen TV and nobody is stupid enough to sit on it, in front of the car when a pull is made. If it did jump the rollers and make a beeline through the back shop wall. It would go right from Kentucky into West Virgina and sink in the Little Sandy River in a matter of seconds. At least that way I would never have to screw with it ever again. Of course the whole incident would be recorded so I can have bragging rights for the worst dyno tune experience, EVER.

I saw a strap melt and the whole car instantly jumped a foot over to the side. I never stand in front or anywhere near the rear tires.
