factory lt1 head milling?

what is the most that can be milled off of a set of factory aluminum lt1 heads?

Has anyone milled off .050? Ptv is not an issue.

Why would you want to mill off so much? Trying to get a massive compression ratio?

I agree, why would you want to mill them that much?

You know milling hurts the flow right....

The combustion chambers have been opened up and the valves have been unshrouded. It should flow fine. I just want to get as much compression as possible.

i had mine milled .060 and it was fine

Not sure exactly how much they were milled but Lloyd Elliott got my old heads down to a 50cc chamber. Good for 12.4 compression on my old motor. On LT1's compression=horsepower.
