i am just lookign for ideas on getting a cam. i am not used to workign on the lt1s it new to me and i do not know the limits of what the biggest size cam i can put into a stock head block

well ok what is your definition of "hit a little harder"? You need to decide if you want something that will be fun to drive with lots of mid range or do want something that will feel like a turd down low and then wake up at 2500-3000 but die out sooner than a properly spec'd cam because it is being choked by stock heads? Most of us, myself included, have been in your shoes. Swapping a cam is not a small task and there would be nothing worse than going through all that work to find out it is not what you were looking for. That lunati peaked at 6300 on stock heads, I was shifting at 6500 and I was a little nervous about shifting a stock bottom end that high. I don't know why anyone would want to push a stock bottom end much harder than that. I vote for Lunati 60121...again
