Does this piece go under timing cover?
I was wondering if the piece in the first pic is supposed to go where it is right now or should it not be there like in the second pic?? The piece over the crank snout?? Where does it go if not there.
also, do the 2 pics that show the timing chain, one where my finger moves it a little in and the other where it is not being touched, does that seem like "normal slack".
Also, what is the piece in the very last picture and where does it go? I remember when I pulled it out of the car it was just screwed into the block on one of the sides, need to refer back to a pic I took a while ago.
thanks

its a 96, info in sig. So is that where it belongs? just can't remember when I took it off and I don't want to put the timing cover and everything back on if it isn't supposed to be there, but makes sense for it to go there since it fits right over that little key part.
thanks

What do block off plates have to do with anything? They should not be in the way. An alternate place for an o/p sensor is here.
thanks again.
