Default To air condition, or not to air condition

So I'm setting up my 94 Z28 with an LS1 SLP lid and i've run into a little trouble. I need to tilt back the radiator and air condenser and it seems like the air conditioning lines are keeping it from moving at all. I'm thinking about taking it out and am just curious to hear some pros and cons from people that have done it, or why some of you wont do it. I have T-tops and I really dont see myself using it unless its raining? Even then, I have a second car I can use if it's not nice and sunny out. I should probably also mention that I'm pretty sure it doesnt work ha ha. I also want to clean up the engine bay a bit.

wow! That really opened up the front of the car! It looks like it should cool a lot better without the air condenser in the way. Thanks guys!

Ripping out the AC is such a lame "mod". IMHO of course.

I'd rather ditch my heater (I did) and my power steering than ditch my AC.

I haven't used my ac in the 6yrs of owning the car, I only haven't pulled it out yet cause I keep dreaming of taking a road trip down to FL one of these years... but what the hell, I might just take it out this year.. it needs a recharge anyways you need a shorter belt w/o it right?

Not having heat is great when you don't daily drive the car in the winter time too. Not having A/C on a 100 degree day isn't too bad though, with the t-tops off and windows down, your cool as long as your moving.

My car is a hard top.

My beater has broken AC that I still need to get around fixing (had to replace the fans already, had it leak tested but the shop screwed up and said the leak is at the tranny cooler...... lol).

I live in cold *** wisconsin. Even here, no AC with the windows down SUCKED. Also, long hair + windows down sucks even worse.

I'd rather ride in winter with no heat than summer with no AC - aisde from not being able to see if the windshield fogs up.

idk I'm torn.. on the coast its not so much the heat as it is the humidity. leather seats + hot and humid = swamp ***
I'll guess I'll decide when I go to install the lid and see how things fit
