lol, I have been thinking about making the switch as well maybe if I can get a couple of stock head/shortblock guys together (I already know gregrob and Ramair are down), we can get one of the sponsors to let us in on a GP.

Good numbers by the way

Great numbers!

What did the car pick up from tuning? (What were the initial numbers it put down?)

Are those numbers SAE or STD, I can't see it on the graph anywhere.

Nice rwhp numbers for sure. Youll don't clown that CC306 too much b/c I ran 11.20@120.8mph back a couple years ago on motor with my 355" LT1, then sprayed it down into the high 9's so the cam does work both on motor and spray. I know have it hanging on my shop wall. Later Clint

The chart shows the gains. It picked up 1HP and almost 30 ft/lbs of torque. The numbers are SAE.

Wow, that was an amazingly accurate mail order tune! I am surprised at the one HP gain, but that is a ton of torque!

And being SAE is huge! None of the uncorrected 38 degree weather games.

Congrats again

Was a 3600 right? I remember talking to you on aim and he got converters right about the same time.

so a 1 point change in your afr gave you an extra hp and 30 more ft/lbs. i've seen similiar results on the dyno with my car. my car makes more hp at 11.8ish than the high 12s. torque does go up though as i lean it out. besides the afr did Bryan change anything else?

He added some timing as well as leaning it out, and also adjusted a TPS code I've been having.

One thing I should point out is that he gained quite a bit of mid-range horsepower as well (as the chart shows).

And BizZzatch350, I used to run a 3600 Midwest. Good memory.

very nice numbers. Would be interested to see what it would be like if you had a m6/10 bolt/3.42? Your setup has to eat up lots of hp, but it has its perks.

Yep, the converter was unlocked. I wasn't interested in the numbers with the converter locked.

Yeah i would like to know what the car weighs b/c my car weighs 3450lbs race ready and I haven't dynoed it yet. But the car did run 127.8mph so it should dyno a little higher. I am swapping intakes to a singleplane, adding a header evac system and will be dynoing next month so I will have some numbers for you guys. later Clint

Honestly I'm not too sure on the car's weight. Maybe someone can give me a good guess...or I'll have it scaled somewhere, eventually.

Nine inch or 12 bolt?

Guessing about 3400-3450 with no driver. I just remembered you have a T/A, those are a little heavier.
