Hell let's use AI as a benchmark since you think one would be "wasting" their money on them.look around at tracks and you can see plenty resuilts from a rhs, brodix, afr or dart heads what do i got to prove..if lt1 specific heads where so badass how come not 1 of them has ever been used in a engine master challege which is restricted and they run pump gas..?(im using engine masters only because its hard proof your asking for that can easly be found on the net)

Are you talking about these things: http://www.profilerperformance.com/sbc-heads-176.htmlsure them are a 1250$ set of heads and have already been making 580hp and up on pump gas with stock untouched ports..what more do you want me to say..pump gas daily driver friendly like you asked for and dont run 2500$ like a fully ported trick flow

First of all the only place the flow decent is at .700 lift. How many people here do you see running .700 lift on a street cam?since you want me to use a.i and there ported trick flow heres your info
a.i ported 21 degree 215cc tf's that cost 2500$
has an avg flow on intake of 249.2 an exh is 174.8 with a combined port avg from .200-.700 of 424cfm and if you look on a.i's site you will see the port dies from .550 lift to .700 lift on the intake side only gaining 10cfm from .550-.700

Now the profiler 210cc no ported stock casting for 1250$
has an avg flow on the intake of 232.1 an exh is 177.5 with a combined avg from .200-.700 of 409 cfm and the ports dont die at any point on there way to .700 which is a big deal.

Second of all it's a 210cc intake port. Not bad but still a little hefty for a stock shortblock / stock cubes. a 210cc head is not a heavty port for 350ci or the stock short block specialy if your going to run 10.5-12.5 on pump gas with a decent cam or thinking about spraying or stroking the motor down the road.

Third at the useable lift range of most anyone this forum these heads flow LESS than a set of AI 190 or 200s... That means less streetable.you must be blind most people on this site run a .550-.600 lift cams so lets look at ai 200cc head vs the profiler in that range

a.i ports 200cc ported for flow, remember this is a 1900$ head plus your cores
int .500 = 275.1 an .600 = 287.8 exh side is .500 = 190.2 an .600 is 196.2

Now lets do the profilers in stock factory forums costing 1250$
int .500 = 271.5 an .600 = 284.5 an exh is .500 = 187.5 an .600 = 219.5

Fourth they are a 64cc chamber. I would love to see you slap them on a stock compression short block and see how it ran. It would likely be a turd due to loss of compression. I bet well set up cam only cars would walk its *** all day every day.you could use a deff gasket thickness or even mill the heads and still cost less even with including the conversion to reverse cooling

Fifth, we dont even know what bore size those things were flowed on. If it was larger than 4.03, well I dont really have to say anything else.profilers site dont say but every flow bench is different anyways i will say that an ive seen 20cfm difference from bench to bench berore...

You seem intent on convincing everyone on this board that they need to "over head their engines" so they have "room to grow for a plate or bigger carb or fi" etc, etc. whats wrong with slightly over heading a engine..if you going to spray a motor down the road with a 200shot your going to need a head that can support that power level that you will be making on spray or why not have a slightly larger head so you dont have to re buy heads down the road..plus as i showed above them 210cc heads are right inbetween both the stock ported lt1 heads or the ported tf 21's an cost less an last i new everyone on here has there own mind and makes there own choices and has there own theorys just like i do

What you fail to realize is that there are companies that have been hashing out these combos for YEARS and ACTUALLY PRODUCING top-notch results for their customers.NO you fail to realize this because you think a casting or other casting that are well proven in the aftermarket world wont run worth a dick just because there not lt1 specific or first gen sbc combos are so different when the only thing diff is the cooling other then that there the same motor just with a front drive distributer that can be converted right back to 1st gen in mins

99% OF THE PEOPLE ON HERE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A MAX EFFORT RACE SETUP. You need to get that through your thick retarded skull.Lets see how retarded i really am if you can show me where i said run a max effort deal on the street i will put im a retard in my sig and keep it there bet you cant

EVERYTHING you have said on this subject would effectively have people spending money on a giant pile of horse **** that wouldn't run with a stock bolt on car on the street.really the data i just showed says a little different i think..but hey thats your thoughts

You said yourself you are going to get pushed to the line, iced down, blast for one pass and tow it back to the trailer.an i have also stated my car will be a drag car..not a street car

Perhaps you should consider a little context next time before you go spewing unwarranted, unwanted, unproven, and unsound advice.it maybe unwarranted or unwated but its proven and well sounded.. this aint my first rodeo buddy

You can continue on in your little fantasy would of bench racing, and "I would do this" or "I would do that" while the rest of us will enjoy our cars, on the street, and pick proven reliable combos that allow us to do so. lol sorry this one makes me laugh..how fast have you been? how many single diggit cars have you worked on?

And I'm sure the 1% that ARE going for a max effort, race-only setup dont need YOU to tell them how to do it. There are several people on here running converted SBC stuff. BIG ******* DEAL. It working well or not has nothing to do with the fact that they stepped out and tried something different, its all about the combo. Regardless of the platform.ill tell you this most of them 1% would listen to me and pick my brian just like i would to them to see what they think..its called bounceing ideas an picking brains..im no expert but i can tell you this im in no way closed minded when it comes to learning. an how many times have i sat here an said in different threads and pms to people on here that its all about the big picture and getting your combo to work right..**** i even told you that when you where saying a cc305 cam engine wont work worth a dick and would get smoked by a bolt on car i believe it was and i said if its set up right it shouldnt happen..im glad you learned something from me atleast

So again I say to you, actually DO something, and give us some RESULTS, or shut the **** up.
ive done more then you probley but i dont need to stroke my ego like a low self esteem person

now im off to bed

I would clearly like to say i have no problems with A.I and am not knocking what they do in anyway..he wanted me to use A.I for an example so i did..my point in a diff thread was you could get a head for less that would run right with trick flow ported 21s from A.I
