95 z wont start

95 z wont start i have a 95 z and when i turn the key to turn the car on nuthing happends the gages dont come on the fule does not prime nuthing its like the key is still off but it does make the bells sound when the door is opened i checked the fuse and thay are all good what do i do????
Batteries can die quick. I had one die on me in the 5 minutes I spent in the store. And they can hold enough juice to power small things like the radio, but not enough to crank the starter.

the battery is fine it has 14.2v i checked it i think it might be the Retained Accessory Power Module i did some searching and thats what i think it is but i dont know can some one help...i turn the key the radio and windows work but nothing else gaugs fuel fans nothing

I was thinking that too.... but what had happend is that i was puting 134a ac in the car and i had the ac on then i went to check it and it was off and the gages where off too but the car was still runing so i turned the car off and then tryed to turn it back on and nuthing...... i did some wire hunting under the car and some of the wires where the thick red, dark brown, yellow, and 2 pink wires where cut and taped.. so i re cut them and taped them and now the fans and radio the windows and the ac blower comes on ...and theres a othere wire that was cut its pink and the its taped to a thick red wire i dont now what it was for i need some pics so i now what wire is what ..but yea all that othere stuff comes on but not the guges, fuel pump its like if the key is off can it still be the ignition switch

ok i pulled the dash and the steering wheel and on top of the steering wheel there is a connection the has thick red yellow dark brown and pinks wires and the red wire looks all burnt and the pink wire has 2 wires connected to the one pink i need to know what that connection is called and what each wire is for SHBOX HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

so the white box thats circled is the ignition switch??? because that is what is burned and the blue connector...if i just change them will the car work
