It will end up being quite a bit more expensive than $2200 if you do the heads/cam kit with all of the accommodating parts to make it run right. Just remember that the small **** really does add up

I e-mailed him awhile ago regarding a cam-only kit.

Here are a few valvetrain parts he recommended me getting for his 226/234 cam
Comp 1305-16 rockers
ARP 134-7103 studs
Trick Flow 30400623-8 guide plates
Trick Flow 21407100 pushrods
Mr Gasket 5716 .026" head gaskets

you would likely also want
valve cover gaskets
timing cover/waterpump gaskets
intake manifold gasket
arp head bolts

Thats likely about a grand worth of stuff right there + the $1600 for his heads/cam kit. I'm probably missing some things also.

The theory I was always told was take how much you plan to spend realistically on the setup and add 30% for small **** that tends to break/go out along the way

I don't have any before/after dyno results or anything but my car picked up well over a half second from when it was cam-only. I'm still messing around with the car and trying to dial it in so with that said the LE2 setup was worth quite a bit over my cam-only setup and I have been extremely pleased with it. For reference I was running a 224/230 cam before and now I still run a 224/230 but with a little more lift and a slightly more aggressive lobe profile.
