96 Impala 355 blueprinted and balanced, heads and cam build
Aloha guys,
dont get on here much...im over on the heavyweight b body forums but a little background on my 96.
Had the car in my family since i was 13 so goin on 10 years now, and currently livin in hawaii with the car.
Developed rod knock and after pulling the motor, spun 7&8 rod bearings. After going back n forth, i decided to pull the trigger on a 355 setup.
Machine shop set me up with a blueprinted, balanced stock crank and new rods with forged 11.1 Wiseco .030 over pistons.
Have a set of ported n polished heads 2.02/1.6 that should flow very well...no flow bench on island. This is paired with a LE 1.2 cam and beehive spings with pro-mag 1.6 rockers. Looking at about .550 lift
2800 stall, stage III tranny, and all the usual bolt ons
So here are the pics...in no specific order
I pick up everything from the machine shop tomorrow, so more pics will be soon! Shoots!

Well im using the victor reinz nitro seal gaskets at .026 so that should put me a tad above 11.1...so ill be happy with that.
I drive the wheels off it, so didnt want something super crazy
But thanks!!

I've been watching this build on ISSF as well but just recently bought a new top end kit. I'm going with the Victor Reinz head gaskets as well. Be sure to keep this thread updated though. I wish I had the time and place to build my own. I shall get there some day.
