Fastest lt convertbile

just wondering if someone can fill me in with the record setting Convertible lt1 car, n/a and nitrous car...

Pretty sure George Baxter set that record way back in the 90s with his 30th anniversary SS. It was running 9.04s IIRC.

I have a video of Baxter going 8.76 at 160mph. So he went at least that fast.

Did he do that with an LTx? I think he moved onto a Gen1 later on.
