Default 93-96 corvette air box

Has anyone tried to fit a 93-97 air box setup from a 94-97 corvette to 93-97
f body? the 93-97 firehawks used a modified one on its car .

not that I've seen, people usually just go straight to the lid setup from an ls1

I believe he means the factory style LT1 vette intake...the "tube" that goes down the front by the radiator support

like the one pictured here:

I haven't seen it yet, but that looks an awful lot like an LS1 lid setup, which can pretty easily be grafted to our cars. Especially if you have a cowl hood.

Firehawks and ws6's used their own ram air boxes, they aren't corvette parts

Default Air box

i know that . the point im trying to make is. the air cleaner is based on the
setup from a 93-97 corvette .that SLP adapted to fit under the ram air hood
if you look at some of the early 93 -94 firehawks the air cleaner lid is a
metal one just like the one used on a 93 -95 vette . do a google search for
93-94 firehawk and you will see what im talking about .years ago i worked at a
pontiac dealer and drove a 93 six speed firehawk for two months .the first
thing that caught my attenton when i popped the hood was the air box
lid .one of the techs mentioned "thats a vette lid " we went over to the
used car lot opened the hood of a 93 vette .and guess what.. the lid was the same as on the bird . some of the early build firehawks used the metal air
box lid before going to the plastic ones later in the model year.

Default corvette box

No tomos... im talking about modding a 93-96 corvette air box to fit on a 93-97
firebird .. fabing the lower half to sit on top of the radiator support
and mate to the throttle body. im exploring this idea because i have a factory97 ws6 hood .and im having no luck finding the air box that goes with it
since GM quit making the setup two years ago. like i stated before SLP adapted the air filter housing from a 93 corvette to fit under their ram air hood to cut down on costs by modifying the lower half of the box to fit under their ram air hood .

I'm sorry I misunderstood you. To answer your original question, I've never seen or heard of that exactly being done.
