383 stroker .060 LT1 build

388 is .060 w/ 3.75 stroke. .040 w/3.75 is a 385.

and .060 is fine even without a short fill in the block. gizmo chime in.

I like to think of it this way after my experience : .020 more material removed just for 3 cubic inches? Imo sacrificing the structural integrity of the block isnt worth 3 cubes.

Melling 10554 Select with either the melling pink high pressure spring or the GM white high pressure spring.

and im not say that your wrong but everyone gets the misconception that you cant bore these things out safely over .030 and thats just not the truth.

It's all in the core shift. Not all factory blocks are created equal. Without a sonic test you just take your chances and roll the dice. I think that is all we are saying. I have no doubt many people have safely bored .060". Hopefully Spilner will have a fine motor.
