Default Custom EXhaust ??

Has anyone welded up there own custom exhaust? If so what diameter pipe did the use and what mufflers. I'm thinking about doing so for the bird. Going to order some 4" diameter x 8' length with an assortment of already bent peaces so i don't have to get anything bent. And i was thinking about dynomax turbo or maybe even just some chambers? Whats everyone's opinion?

When i make exhausts i only buy U-bends. they equate to being cheaper then buying all different ends by cutting it to what you need. mufflers are a personal preferance. but i run a classic chambered and a hooker aerochamber. it sounds great and has a nice tone. its also abit quiet too but thats what i was aiming for. i also have a cutout in mine aswell.

What diameter pipe did you use and where did you get them from?

Mine is a 3" Y into a 4" pipe with a Dynomax race muffler, dumped before 3rd member. Interestingly, the car was no faster open header FWIW.
