im starting to feal the pain car ran fine for 200mikes to break everything in. on the way to the dyno it starts missing at idle so the car bought some time for the dyno tune in a few weeks if i can figure it out. at idle it has a miss fuel pressure right on how can i tell if its a opti going out. it dont miss 200-5000 only of idle and idle. no check engine light or codes

I'm guessing you just put a new engine in, so you just hooked up the wiring harness and plug wires. since you have just hooked all that back up I bet something came loose or a plug wire got burned.

.045 just changed plugs all were good except number 5 and 7. changed all the pluggs and gapped at 50 same 2 fouled. check and replacded wire ran at idle still fouled same 2. compression test pass its fuel fouled. checked the injector ohms and leak down pass. holds fuel pressure. any other ideas no burnt wires and there in the same place?

can you check your fuel trims? Do you have a scanner that you can look and see if you are having bank to bank fueling issues? An intake leak cylinders on 1 & 3 would trip out the o2s making the computer think it is lean and start dumping fuel to compensate. While that would help straighten out the cylinders that are receiving unmetered air, the cylinders that are not would be getting excess fuel and would foul plugs. Have you sprayed starting fluid around the intake to see if the revs pick up? I would also swap the injectors from 5 and 7 to cylinders 1 and 3 to see if the problem follows the injectors.

So you had all plugs out when you did the compression test? what psi did you get per stroke? Are they fouling with oil if so check your valve seals. If Gas look at the previous posts.

wait a minute...didn't your last motor wash down the cylinder walls from dumping too much fuel? Is there any correlation between which cylinders had the problem last time or were they all washed down? Did you have the injectors serviced and flowchecked before you ran them on this motor? I would also rent a net of noid lights and check your injector pulse while I was at it but I guess after you swap injectors cylinder to cylinder it should give you an idea on who the guilty party is.

yes it idles just rough. i didt have alot of time to mess with today. last motor they were all washed down. i exchanged the injectors for new 30lbs. i checked all of the ohms and none of them leak fuel pressure holds. i had a dirfrent mail tune done also. no check engine light my scan tool did say af was 11.8 at idle before it kicked me out its old and barley works. i did check the volts at the tps and it read .0600 i adj idle to 1200 and changed to .0670 i dont know if it will help anything.

well i switch the injectors it did't follow but more plugs are fouling out still no check engine ligt. i drove it about 15 miles back and forth on the highway and it started running rougher and rougher was chattering while crussing. the thing was totally missing and was pretty much running on 4 cylinders. i get home and see driblles pop the hood and my wp weap hole is dripping all over the place. shouldt of cut that corner maybe this is my problem good thing i did't pay for dyno time yet
