Difference in Rod's
I will be running 4 bolt block Steel crank Hypereutectic .30 pistons with stock heads And i will be getting a Cam spring package from AI but im not sure what one yet. I will spend money where it counts since i am on a budget and it will still have to be my daily driver!
Your static compression won't dictate what octane fuel you can run. That's something you can work out when you have the cam specifications. FWIW, I'm running close to 13:1 (9.6:1 dynamic) and run 93 with no problems.

Keep in mind that if you get the rods reconditioned (resize the big end with new bolts), you will have an easy $150-$200 in them. For a little more you can buy a stronger rod without worry of breakage.
