Also disconnect the batter for a few mins, to erase the stored fuel trims.

swapped extension and now it seems some better but still smells rich....
scanned it and new values were 297 -387 for the LH, and the RH was in the high 400's to low 600's. The RH was higher before.....would the LH working better make the RH change? Also, since it was running so rich before would it take some time for the sensor to straighten out? Do I need to just change it again? I think there is a very slight ex leak at the o2 bung on the LH header. The old bung was stripped and a new one welded on before I changed the sensor. I think it may have a few pin-holes left.

I cleared the codes.....will this do the same thing or do I still need to disconnect the battery?

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. Won't hurt to try and disconnect the battery for a few mins.

Okay...I'll try that too.
What values should I be looking for from both sensors? What is a reasonable range for a bolt-on only/untuned car with long tubes? I'm not talking about AFR, but the value range to look for on the scanner.
Also....can you explain the following:

LT Fuel TR CL = 16
LT Fuel TRM L = 151
LT Fuel TRM R = 128

O2S LEFT = 160 - 266 (mV)
O2S Right = 586 - 635 (mV)

Those last two are the ones we've been talking about, but what are the fuel trim numbers saying? Also what is that first line?
MANY MANY thanks !!!!!

The first line is which cell you're in.128 is perfect, it means the PCM is neither adding or subtracting fuel. Greater than 128 is adding fuel, lesser is taking away.151 indicates adding fuel to that bank because the reading form that 02 is low.
