You need a new mechanic. You've also got to clean up some of your wordage. We have to understand what issues you are having.

"Car dont go on"
"Temp keeps going on"
"What can be maiking it stop passing gas"

What do you mean he was messing with the relays?

lol i was driving and typing this in my fault.
i change my water pump, when i put everything back in place the car temp was off the roof i didn't want to mess with it anymore, i took it in to a mechanic thats where the car is at now he tried to fix it its now been almosta week exact and he can't get to the problem.
@ ramair95ta
so u recommend me a link (coolant bleed)so i printed out and took it to the mechanic. He said he bleed the car the way it says in the article.
I don't think he has and idea what the f**k he is doing.

i want to bring it home now!
the problem
now with all the turning on and turning off the car it doesnt start anymore.
the fuelpump was changed appoxs half a year ago!
i saw the mechanic messing with the relays as he checked the fans relays.
why isn't the car going on?

there could be a lot reasons now why the car isn't starting that probably has nothing to do with the water pump replacement. If you don't trust the mechanic, you need to get it towed out of there and somewhere else, even if it's not starting.

Also - owning a 13+ year old car is a risk and you'll be always surprised by some gremlins you find. There a lot of standard tests you can do for fuel/spark and you should start there. I would also say invest in a service manual or do a lot more searching on here as there is a lot of good advice. But don't expect for someone to give you an answer just based on what you typed in this post so far.

I would tell you tow it to a dealer, have them go through and tell you what's wrong, then decide who should fix it. It may cost you a few hundred $$$ but you may be out of options if you can't find a mechanic you trust or you decide to figure it out yourself step by step.

facepalm... this thread reminds me of the kid whos motor needed a rebuild and he thought putting a cam in it would fix it and didnt understand why it was still knocking.

But anyhow, my guess is you changed the water pump got the opti all wet and now the opti is bad. Or the guy put a bad fuel pump relay in. As for the overheating, didnt in your last thread you said the "mechanic" thought it was the temp sensor? and he changed the temp sensor 2 or 3 times? I wouldn't say hes the brightest of the bunch... Sooooo he probably didnt bleed the system properly.

Have you checked your oil for milk?

my guess is the fans arent coming on because they died or the tempature sending unit quit working. or the fan relays.

To be quite honest its hard to understand what all you are even trying to say.......but I'll agree with both needing a new mechanic, and that by the sounds of it I wouldn't be surprised if he DID do something stupid like let the opti get soaked.

Easy way to figure this out. See if the fans come on when you turn on the A/C. If they do come on, it is almost definitely the temp sending unit that screws into the head. If they do not come on, the next step is to check the relay in the fuse box. The easiest way to do this is to swap the coolant fan and fog light relays, then try to turn on the fog lights. If the fog lights come on the relay is good. If the relay is good and the fans don't come on with the A/C, then they're most likely dead. It would help to know how fast the engine is heating up and when though. Like if it just starts shooting up like crazy that sounds like a stuck thermostat. If when you're idling it tends to climb up slowly, that sounds more like the fans not coming on. I've had both happen.

Keep making posts while you are driving and your engines temp will be the last thing you have to worry about.

Dont you meant the temp sensor thats in the water pump, the one in the drivers side head is for the gauge, the temp sensor in the waterpump is for the ECM, the ECM decides when to turn the fans on and off.
