I talked to him last night and he basically told me its his money, the guy already ordered parts, and that we are less knowledgeable than a trained mechanic.

I was amazed..

Once I get my f-body I'll make sure to utilize these boards as much as possible.
Thanks for all the offers and help guys, but he's probably the most stubborn person alive.
I'm going to the beach for memorial day weekend so I won't be able to check on this thread after today. Sorry

I don't know what's worse, a mechanic that is overchaging for low quality parts and install, or a buddy who won't listen to your good advice...
