Default 95 Trans Am ENGINE HARNESS HELP!

I have posted this before and didnt have much luck so here it goes again.

I have a 1995 Trans am LT1, 6spd. put the motor an trans out of a 97 into it.(bought with no drivetrain) But they say the '97 harness is different than the 95 and wont work.. it wont run/fire. if anyone has a 95 harness im interested in it for sure. but can the 97 harness work? finding a 95 harness seems to be like a needle in a haystack. any help would be awesome

I don't see why you couldn't have it tuned to work. I may be wring though. I might have one. I'll check at the shop tomorrow morning and pm you if I do.

Here are the differences you need to address:

C100
Pin D) '95 - PCM BAT / '97 - Empty (orange wire)

C210
Pin C) '95 - Empty / '97 - PCM BAT (orange wire)

C220
Pin E) '95 - Empty / '97 - PCM IGN (pink wire)

C230
Pin G) '95 - PCM IGN / '97 - ENG SEN

Match the Blue to the Blue, run igniton voltage w/ 20amp fuse to the Purple, and you can ignore the Orange.

Here are what the connectors look like:

would it matter if the computer came out of the 97 too? do i have to reset/relearn the computer?
cause when i sent my computer off in my Boni for a tune i had to relearn it to the car. and i was just wonder if this is my problem

What I posted was to mate a '97 harness & computer to a '95 chassis. There should be nothing else requred besides connecting the computer to the harness and making the changes I posted.

Okay so I'm working on the wiring at this moment, for C100 in pin d the wire is orange- so I connect that with C210? Pin C? On the factory body harness

And with C220 I can just run a new wire to it with a fuse off the fuse box correct?

Conect the C100 pin D orange wire from the chassis harness side to the C210 pin C orange wire on the engine harness side.
Yes, just run a seperate fused wire from the fuse block to the C220 pin E on the engine harness side. You want this wire to have power only when the key is turned to the ON position. You don't want it to be hot all the time.

So you did all that I told you? Do you hear the fuel pump priming? If it's not priming when you turn the key to the ON position, that usually mean the PCM is not powering up.

It won't crank. And I can't hear it prime, but the all the other stuff runs its cycle so to speak

Okay I unplugged the air pump fuse and the fuel pump is running, so now I am one step farther, I hope
I alkso connected C220 pin E to C100 pin K.
And C105 pin E to C220 pin f
I'm clueless of what to do now that it won't crank

Well I didn't give up this year, after 2 years battling this car, I got it to fire! I appreciate all the help! All that's left is check a few wires, put exhaust on, driveshaft and call it good
