Default would this help my sound?

just got the cc503 cam in my car. and as expected it got a bit louder but also somewhat raspier. my exhaust is pacesetter lt's, ory and sweet thunder muffler dumped.

If i got the flowmaster y merge welded in place of the pacesetter merge will the quality of the sound be better with the sweet thunder?

I would ditch everything from the y-pipe back with a Hooker Aerochamber system, but that's me.

the guys on the ls1 external section swear by it. It may not completely solve the problem but it wouldn't be a bad place to start.

Yes I do, with an electric cutout when I'm at the track. Here it is closed:

Thanks. Try Larry as ls1speed.com. I ordered mine 6 years ago from Thunder Racing though.

Just looked at his site. It's cheaper through summit. I might try to find one used.

Ramair, do you have any more rev/accel clips of your exhaust? sounds good at idle.

Unfortunately, no. All of my YouTube videos are with the cut-out open.

I know this is for a ls1 but I think they have the lt1 kits in stock, just not listed on thier site. they have the best price from what I have found on this exhaust kit. If it comes down to it, im pretty sure you can make the ls1 kit fit anyways...
