kyle,

amazing how it seems to be the simple things, lol!!!

i have over 4 years on my wires, and they are perfect! i check them visually for damage and the resistance every year.
3 things i attribute to their longevity. 1. msd wire sleeving. 2. DEI boot protectors. 3. appropriate zip ties in the right places to help reduce the intensity of the heat on the boots/wires.

they have paid for themselves multiple times over. especially when it comes to trouble shooting issues ( ie. I know my wires are spot on!).

yeah i know the **** isn't cheap! about 125 for the sleeving and boots, but how much is a set of wires. hell maybe you can even get a set of MSD wires to last for a few years!

I have a customer with a 68 vette in his shop for some repairs, i am getting him sleeves and new wires to strap onto his customer's 427 sbc vette.

heat kills! period.......

No doubt Taner! We were very cautious when we ran the wires. There were no signs of burns or anything. At the time this issue started happening last year on the old setup, those wires had been on the car for maybe 15 months. I guess I might have to invest in some sleeves.

Looks and sounds good Kyle. Glad you got the problem fixed. Look forward to dyno and track numbers. Not looking forward to possibly having to run you in Mod. PA.

I can prove this theory wrong. So can a certain vid on this site. This car just cant hook up.

Kyle if I lived a lil closer I would come give you another set of hands to help out. And some cold units. But we both know a header gasket can kick my *** for about an hour.

Lemme know when you go to Sunshine in Killeen

He should let me drive it again. I will try hard as hell to break his driveshaft again.

No seriously though. Kyle can bang the gears. If the car hooks it will hit the number.

I'll give you some seat time. Should pick up a tenth or two with just the weight reduction alone hahaha!
