Magnaflow compared to GMMG im torn between the two.
Ok well my car sounds GREAT with the SOTL Flowmaster but I cant get over the single exit tailpipe, I have been searching and listening at clips for weeks now but I want your opinions also especially if you have had bot exhausts before. I LOVE the magnaflow tailpipes but have been hearing they are too quiet, my car will get a cam and long tubes soon, is has a REMOVABLE flange high flow cat that will bee removed if needed but will it make it raspy? I like the GMMG sound and will probably leave the cat on because I hear it sounds better with it but it's quite a bit more expensive than the magnaflow, will I be happy with the magnaflow? are the magnaflow owners out there happy with theirs?

Hooker LTs into Magnaflow catback. LE2 heads and cam.

I am really happy with the sound. The long tubes really really wake this exhaust up. Its quiet while cruising down the interstate, but screams when you get on it.

magnaflow makes a good looking exhaust-thats about all I can say. I think too many people run it tho, and to me, it doesn't sound all that great, and it's too quiet. GMMG is simply the best sounding exhaust setup hands down IMO, wheather you have manifolds, shorties, long tubes, cutouts, or cats...it's the *****. I don't care if it's compared to corsa, custom 3" true duals, straight pipe, hooker, 4 inch mufflex, whatever...

I love how my magnaflow sounds. When it first went on it was a little quiet, then after I put 1.6rr's on it, completely different. Now that it's been on the car for about a year and a half, it's not so quiet now. When running the car hard, it can be heard from a ways off, but just being easy with it cruizing down the road it's calm and no drone what-so-ever. I would still like to try out a GMMG system but don't have the cash to be able to do that.

GMMG all the way . I've heard magnaflow in person and it was just too quiet for me, I want to hear the v8 rumble lol. GMMG is a little loud but thats because I have an auto. Its actually fairly docile at 2000> rpm but anything past 2000 get louder and still maintains a smooth sound. Since you have headers it will be louder then manifolds, but once you get GMMG though you'll have this huge smile on your face after hearing it.

GMMG hands down. Sounds great with headers and absolutely amazing with a cam. Just be warned that it will get louder and louder with every mod. With a cam, its pretty much loud anywhere in the rpm range, even with cats. Mine isn't raspy at all though.
