93 camaro code 42

I'm getting a code 42 after engine install but the car starts....sooooo would this be a bad coil, crossed ground or the ICM thanks for your help up front. Oh yea i tried the search

This is the code. Not sure what it means though.

42 The EST circuit voltage was below 0.5 volts when engine speed was below 3000 RPM.

Take the coil off and test it with a multimeter

yea im going to try that today also will a ground not being in the right place cause this, because i put the ground on the engine block instead of on the coil...
