I currently have a Loudmouth 2. I don't think it sounds horrible but it isn't so great either. What I am thinking of doing is removing the resonator and putting a powerstick in it's place. Does anyone have a clip of how that sounds? If you think that's a horrible idea than give me a better idea. I have about 160 dollars to use to make my exhaust sound better.

I had the dynomax bullet dumped at the axle and I recently switched to a sweet thunder(similar to powerstick) and I personally like the dynomax better. The bullet had ZERO rasp and the sweet thunder is very raspy at part throttle. I'm fixing to switch back to the bullet.
BTW...the dynomax bullet and the SLP LM2 are the same thing except for the SLP being stainless.

I have a stock y-pipe and a powerstick in it...sounds just a little quieter than a straight pipe/loudmouth, but doesn't backfire or rasp nearly as much, plus I felt some low end torque come back when I put it on vs/ the straight pipe...
I'd run 2 powersticks if you can make them fit

The difference from straight pipe to powerstick was:
Increased/replaced low end torque
Much Less Rasp
Much Less Backfiring on decel
a Tad quieter (still LOUD, don't get me wrong)
It does have a classic muscley sound to it, but it's not like GMMG, which uses 2 mufflers that are 24" long manufacteured by madhammer (I believe.) The other night I had an older gentleman walk up to me at the local gas station while my car was idling. I noticed he had been looking at my car from the pumps. He came up to me and the first thing he said was "I haven't heard a car sound like that in 30 years..." I took that as a compliment
