.......They took the AC/heater box out and just cut off the part that sticks out through the firewall to fully delete the A/C. It makes the engine bay look a lot nicer but I don't know how much it weight it saves.........I suggest keeping the heater, the defrost is nice on the chilly nights at the track when your windshield fogs up.......I'm not really sure how long it would take since I just worked on mine a little at a time.......Is this a daily driver or a race car? I'm pretty sure theres some metal bars in the doors that would help cut down some weight but I personally wouldn't do it if you drive it on the street.
Also,
Strano Sway Bars (-20 or so lbs, IIRC)
Remove EGR/AIR (6-7 lbs)
Lightweigh K-Member, along with a-arms, brakes, and shocks/springs can take off over 80 lbs alone.
Idk what your goals are, but there are also manual steering and brake packages from BMR that drop another 30lbs...
Also, headers are quite a bit lighter thn stock manifolds.

also pick up a LS1 DS which can be had for cheap, '99+ plastic fuel tanks are quite a bit lighter and if you've got the loot an alum radiator shaves quite a bit of weight(~40) off the nose too
