If you kept the TunerPro RT installation defaults the folder will be in My Documents and TunerPro. You probably have some anti virus or? That has changed permissions on that folder to allow software to make changes?
Or you could try to do away with Edit Logging? In Tools, Preferences, General uncheck "Enable Edit Logging".
There's been some serious work done to the LT1 $EE definition editor and steveo has taken up the challenge to further the work done on the dissasmbly. Many new parameters we were always lacking and some new tricks found. To get the latest TP XDF files look for the link to current zip folder here:

I am learning a lot from this thread & am'only logging so far. Plan on tuning soon but was wondering what would be the most inexpensive program to use to load the tune with?
lt1/A4 with hot cam & all the bolt ons-want a 150 shot after I get a hold of tuning-
I am using a Red Devil River U.S.B./ALDL CABLE & tuner pro rt v5 on a Acer aspire VG5

I am demodding my 95 TA and want to install a stock tune to the PCM. The first thing I want to change are the fan temps due to a 160 t-stat. I'll also calibrate for the 3.73 diff & 315/35 tires but have figured that out thanks to the spreadsheet in this thread. I loaded a BIN file for the 16209461 PCM (95 F body manual) and do not see any way to change fan temps based upon coolant- only oil temp, AC pressure, & MPH. What am I missing or how do I do that?
EDIT: Nevermind, was using an outdated XDF file. I see it now.

I updated the speedometer calibration spreadsheet to allow user input to calculate the tire size. This should help with speedometer corrections for anyone using a non-stock size tire.
The instructions are on the spreadsheet, and it is color-coded. Use Excel or a similar program, input your tire size (such as 275/40-17), rear end ratio, and the sensor pulse number based on car/trans type and it will calculate the data needed for speedometer correction in Tuner Pro.
Let me know if there are any bugs and I'll work them out.

can i do this with this program?
I have all the cables and the hypertech programmer plus, power scan, and Jets DST interface module. The exhaust is pulled out but runs good. I have the jet PCM attachment but needs tuning because the fuel cuts off at low rpm
