Good price and 500 hp probably don't go together. The guy that built my engine has been dealing with LT1s forever and he said the Street Twin is the only LT1 clutch he has seen that will take some power and abuse and last a long time.

I have no complaints with my ram power-grip HD. Pretty much 0 chatter and holds like a ****.

i would also vouch for the Ram HD but i have only run it to just under 450 with no problems. it probably would be in your best interest to go with a street twin.

I'm probably gonna get lashed for this - LOL, but here goes. I love my Centerforce DF and they make very good clutches. Should hold 500+ no problem, but their pricey at 600+.

I have the old spec stage 3 and it chatters pretty bad. I don't know what their current clutches are like, but I wouldn't buy the one I have now if I had it to do over.

Another vote for the spec stage 4, been using it for 5-6 years now and it's held up well to a lot of abuse at the track. I know the ST is the best but it was overkill for my plans and a lot more than I wanted to spend.

Im still on the stock one. I have a spec 3 to put in once things are running properly.

They have come a long way since the BS clutches they made in 02-05. Quite a bit of improvements.

I ran a new version (2009) Spec stage 3 for a while and LOVED IT...great street manners and grabbed hard when needed. I'm sending you a PM about it.
