Nice! On a cooler day you'd see some 13.4's no doubt.

You think? I am suprised at how many of the new camaros are running really shitty times. My last run was next to one and i smoked it bad.. It ran a 14.473 wtf. I would be pissed if i droped 40k and was running those times... Probably the driver but still.

What i really need to do is have the car aligned. It has been off since i bought it and never had the extra cash to have it fixed. I think it would gain a little on the mph if it was rolling a little more freely. I also need a good cat back, mine is still stock and it is choking out my engine. With those two things i am hoping to see 13.3 @ 102ish.. Anyone got a extra cat back setup they want to part ways with cheep?

If you do all the above and drop the pressure in your tires down to 24psi should net you .2-.3 off your pass.

I would add a cutout & drag radials, those with the weight loss should get you into the high 13's @ 100mph.

goodluck
good advice but if you do more than go straight with the car leave the sway bar on and just disconnect it when you get to the track

You are running respectable numbers for a stock car just dialing it in for a Street/Strip car is the key.

I am in the process of conducting a baseline of my 97M6 TA. I refuse to crack open my motor until I reach the limits of what the stock motor is capable of.

Car back on the road after sitting for a year or so when my Opti failed, took so long as I was deciding if I would upgrade to a H/C package.

A three weeks ago ran in the 1/4 spinning the tires:

60' 2.196
1/8 9.138
MPH 79.66
1/4 13.996
MPH 102.38
Mods during that run are: Goodyear Eagle F1 245x45x17, Pacesetter Long-tubes, Flowmaster Catback, SLP Air Foil, K&N Air filter, 3.42 gears

Yesterday's run (still spinning tires) suspect track prep:
60' 2.064
1/8 8.986
MPH 79.81
1/4 13.855
MPH 103.66
Mods during that run are: 245x50x16 NITTO DR 15 & 18psi, Throttle body bypass

Next items: A tune with my MPH and a set of 4.10's.

kagtech - that a beautiful bird!!

i ran consistant 14.4's my last time to the track. car had some issues, first time at the track with this car as well. Mods were flowmaster cat back, cold air intake. and an intake elbow shoved inside the t/b also was on 315 nitto nt555r's.

13.6/7's is very respectable for your mods. its amazing what long tubes will do for these cars. Maybe look into a stall next!?

I am undecided about the stall, i really don't have the cash to be replacing the trans or rear for that matter, so i don't want to beat them up too much. Next thing is going to be alignment and a cat back. I drive the car a lot on the highway and i don't want to make the gas mileage any worse than it already is with a big stall converter. When i can afford the heads and cam i will consider doing it then.

Your 60' times are okay
1/8th times and mph seem a little slow for a m6. Are you missing a shift or are your sync rows getting wore out?
