New 95 m6 z28 owner needs some advice- Car is running Slow and fouling plugs
hey everybody.
Recently bought a 95 z28 with the 6 spd tranny. When I bought it, the previous owner believed the motor to be blown- I knew otherwise and it turned out the cat was simply blocked. So Ive driven it for about 3 weeks now- and it doesnt seem to have the spunk it should. I had the plugs/wires changed and the MAS sensor cleaned today- two cylinder plugs were fouled and wet with oil. I drove it around for about 15 mins- didnt see any noticeable difference between driving it while the plugs were changed and before- doesnt seem right. Im putting a custom exhaust system on it tommorow as well as a bbk 58mm throttle body and a K & n Intake system- anyone know a reason why it would be running so slow? Car will barely spin the tires in first, and chirps extremely softly in 2nd- feels like its extremely underpowered. Any advice or tips would be a huge help- Im outta my league here. Thanks!

you need to do a compression check on those cylinders before dropping another dime into it ...if those cyl's arnt compressing you have issues and low/no power kina like a v6. all that fancy **** aint gonna fix it it will runn shittier cause it will then need a tune and be ****'d up...do things rite the first time when it comes to mods get your power-train in check first...my 2cent
