Default 4" exhuast

Was just curious what you guys thought about this. Im soon going to take my spiral flow off for something new its kinda getting old. I was thinking get a 4" merge and getting a 4" bullet. So what do you guys think about this? Will it have any power gains? Pros and cons please?

do it... Probably won't see any hp out of it, but it'll be great when you put a serious motor in it. Cons... it's a huge pipe man, lol a little harder to work around the driveshaft/rearend. If you want it over the axle, it's possible without PHB relocation, but your exhaust guy will hate you.

My daily driver. My 94 Z28 is my daily driver, I have had this exhaust setup for over a year now, its great, awesome ground clearance, it just sounds awesome.

I've got a 4" on my Z28. Clearance isn't very good because the car is lowered...had a skid plate welded on the bottom of the drivers side. I need to re adjust the height. Gotta agree with wicked94z...its pretty damn big.

I changed from true duals to a single 4 inch flowmaster merge and a 4 inch single chamber. Here's my thread:

Ok, what about using a reducer in reverse. This way i wont have to hack up my y pipe in case i decide to go back. Will this work?

there's 10+ hp in a good 3" y pipe with a flowmaster merge.

I too went from a TD set-up to a single 4", with a Dynomax race muffler, dumped before the axle. Great sound, less weight.
