My bolts backed out of my sprocket and the chain fell off and you can imagine the rest. The previous owner had the cam installed by a guy that did not understand the benefits to lock tight . I was cleaning out the pan I found the centering pin, it was in good shape but now can I simply put the pin in and hope that it stays, or is there something I can do to prevent from future failure ????
