Flat black looks good. Flat black with gloss black stripes would look even better.

All that can be said is... WOW! Looks ******* awesome! and that hood isnt even one of my favorites... but it sure does look sinister with your setup! Love it

Looks great, I've been wanting to do the same thing. How much did that cost you? And how did they do it? I heard you can spray gloss black with some kind of clear that turns it flat????

I love it...
total $300. I did it my self (i work in a body shop). Its not painted, it is an epoxy primer that on it, if you painted it, you'd paint it black then put flatting agents in your clear. Last week we painted a pickup flat purple

Thats interesting. How does that epoxy primer hold up compared to a regular paint job as far as durability

as for durability, Paint your car. My car will eventually have to be painted or resprayed. (painting it this winter) This epoxy primer is what we use on our restorations. Strip it to bare metal, spray epoxy on it, spray build primer, sand, spray final primer, sand then paint. Epoxy primer is just primer for bare metal. But if i would leave my car like this, it would start to chaulk out over time.
