I waited 3 months to get my short block back and before i slapped together the motor 1 night i took my heads up the street to another engine builder i know and they milled the heads on the spot took 30 minutes. it was kickass. should of took my shortblock there

Any idea what kinda gains you saw with the ls1 lid conversion and chris1313 ram air, or what the gains would be over a conventional CAI? I don't think I've seen anybody else run that setup on an lt1. Car looks fantastic.

hell yea Larry, that car is badass! Love the color, hood, wheel combo. Next is a huge turbo to make that 396 run! How about after the carpet is formed to the car you sell it to me so i dont have to screw around withmaking it fit, lol?!?!

car has not been to the track or WOT yet to really tell, but if I had to guess going with the Ls1 lid and Chrs11313 ram air 3+ mph. I have changed many things so I will not have a true comparison though.

if I had money for any more changes it would be EFI Conn, heads/cam and turbo for sure

I got my carpet fit real nice, but it laid in my finished basement under a heat vent all winter

WOW, I don't know why it took me so long to see this thread. Car looks great Larry, SUPER CLEAN AS USUAL!!! I can't really tell from the pics but are your wheels coated gloss or satin, I assume you had Sean do them?
