im sorry to sound like a noob but what does that mean...and do i set the locks flush with the adjusting nuts them tighten them down or what
The round part of the rocker in the center is called the trunion (what the blue part moves on). On one side there is a flat spot for the poly lock to rest against and the other side is round. The flat spot is supposed to be facing up, giving something for the poly lock to firmly seat against.

You do NOT want to use guideplates with SA rockers. Bad things happen.
