Default dropped a pushrod ??

i just got this car 2weeks ago its a 93 z28 355 lt4 cam comp springs 1.6 rockers ported heads and intake and full bolt ons motor only has 400miles on it and i have all the receipts so everything it legit ...the guy told me the only thing i needed was new lifters ..the motor was ticking like it needed the rockers readjusted or it needed new lifters ..so today i was going to readjust the rockers and see if the ticking went away so i pulled off the valve covers and on the driver side 4th rocker form the fire wall the bolt that holds the rocker down was broken with some of the tip or the rod in it so the rocker was just loose and the 3rd rocker form the fire wall the push rod was missing??? .... i was driving the car like this for 30 miles it felt like it had a miss at idle but it ran smooth when i would cruise it ...is it possible that the rod fell in the motor if so how do i get it out and where will it go if it did and whats the name or the rod that you bolt the rocker to...please help

the guide plate stud is what the rocker is bolted down on, that is weird that the pushrod is missing. maybe it snapped and it is sitting in the lifter valley. not really sure.

get some answers from other people but you might need to pull off the intake manifold to get a good look down there.

fish around in the pushrod hole with a magnetic tool picker upper thingy(lol) and you might be able to get it out without pulling the intake.it is in there laying in the lifter valley, prob all bent up.id just replace that one rocker stud and then do a leak down test or at least a compression test on that cyl.

OK, order up 1 new pushrod from summit. Secondly that roller rocker poly lock is not broke that your holding. Its still good and the other ones in that pic are all loose. Find out how to adjust them correctly and I say you will be good. I think the person never adjusted them correctly and they were just loose. But order 1 new pushrod.

There might be a pat number on the pushrod. Order that one unless you will have to measure it and check it.

Just buy a set of Comp hardened. They're like $40.
