Hey:

No, That is typical, that is the company he was going to be partnered with, or something. They did not work out or something, but the name was on the contract, and shows up on at least half the LT1 headers still. The place that makes them in Georgia also makes SSAs line and cross badges about half of his orders. It was a big deal to him back then, and probably still is.
It'll take awhile for that not show up that way. I have one of the very 1ST headers LPP ever made, and they had SSAutochrome on them till I mention that to Carl and he sent new badges to me. The old LPP 100 page thread that was deleted had this info in it.

BTW I just pried them off my headers. Also give you a tad more work space.

oh ok. i didnt know that this was a known fact. for the price who can complain. I just thought it was funny that there are always threads started like..."LPP's or ebay knockoffs, which ones should i get"? when really both are ebay headers. (SSautochrome started selling products on ebay a long time ago)

Yea, mine that I just bought from LPP through ebay said SSAutoChrome on them too. The box they shipped in and everything. I just took some metal polish and polished off that marking on the top.
